After reviewing our entrance criteria and program overview, if you are interested in applying to Ozanam Recovery House, please print and fill out the application and have it faxed to us.
The applicant is then expected to contact the main office daily to check in 250-762-4673.
Residents
At Ozanam Recovery House, we believe that by making positive changes to your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being, you will learn to live without addictions and access a higher quality of life.
While at Ozanam House, residents participate in mandatory daily recovery programming for the first 3 months of their stay. This will be your primary focus during this time. Then, with the help of our support staff, you will begin to access community support systems, working toward your short- and long-term goals and ultimately your return to the community.
Depending on individual needs and progress, it is possible to stay at Ozanam Recovery House for up to 2 years.
What Can I Expect?
Residents are provided with a comfortable private room, healthy meals, medication management, psycho-social support, access to clinical counselling and professional recovery programming, all in a drug and alcohol-free environment.
Ozanam Recovery House offers sleeping and living accommodation for up to nineteen men in individual rooms with bathroom facilities shared between two or three individuals. Access to medical and dental help are provided when required, as well as a bursary fund to help residents acquire desired life skills.
Can I Afford It?
Funding through the Ministry of Social Development and the BC Housing Corporation covers most of our costs. With our unique pay-per-use system, clients who can afford it pay a subsidized rent on a sliding scale, while those on Income Assistance may be eligible for full funding.
